New Life Hat Society Inc., sponsored "awareness and literacy" night event. Black female entrepreneurs and professionals dedicated to helping, unleash the chains of economic/mental slavery, oppression and depression among Black men and boys in their communities. Through programs and services NLHS empowers, and equips Black men and boys into entrepreneur-ship based upon their artistic abilities (economic empowerment, literacy, entrepreneurship education, effective networking, growth and development workshops). NLHS's mission is to teach self-sufficiency by making money based upon skillsets. NLHS identifies basic fundamentals of not just owning a business, but effectively operating the business(es) and ultimately expanding it.
